It's been quite awhile since I've had the energy to blog. S o much has happened to our family in the last year.
A quick synopsis of important events:
2013 was a pretty stressful year;
I had major hernia surgery.
Ben had many mental breakdowns and ended up in a residential treatment center in April.
We took the 3 boys to Myrtle Beach for Easter, it was a much needed break from all the
drama and stress we had been dealing with.
It was a year of purging and healing, we learned many things about how unhealthy our life had
been and we learned we didn't have to live like that anymore.
We were involved in many church outings like vacation bible school, summer church in the park, Halloween outreach and the wonderful Friday night Coffee Shop
The winter of 2013-14 was a bitter long cold one in WI/MN. Joel was very cold working nights hauling gas around the cities.
We were healing from the past, the winters were getting colder and the house had so many unpleasant memories, so we did it, we made the decision to move. And, we did, we moved to South Carolina.
We lived with friends for a few months.
Joel found a petroleum transport job near home.
We bought large modular home on 6+ acres.
Matthew has played JV and Varsity football for the Chesterfield Rams.
Daniel and Samuel have played football for the YMCA team.
We still homeschool and I am still at home with the boys.
